CORE French
CORE French is offered for students in Grade 5 to 12. This is a mandatory subject area for Grades 5-8. Students at Nazko Elementary learn Carrier/ Dakelh in place of CORE French. The Language Coordinator can provide Grade 5-12 French teachers support in a variety of ways:
- provide French resources or kits
- in-class model lessons
- collaboration and planning support
- workshops and in-service sessions (on request)

Club Mystère has engaging graphic novels, teacher guide and puppet mascot "Hugo." These kits are available from the D.A.O.
BD Aquila are graphic novel kits that are highly engaging. It comes with an audio CD and activity booklet. There are 14 different kits available to be loaned out from the D.A.O. Four of the kits have projectable books from https://aquilaonlinebooks.com/.
Kits from the Lectures Junior series are available for loan from the D.A.O. These kits contain readers, teacher guide with student activities and audio CD.
